Kirby Cafe Skytree
He Kirby Cafe is an official Nintendo cafe which started as a pop-up cafe in the summer of 2016. The initial locations eventually closed, but have reopened permanently in Tokyo Skytree and Canal City Hakata in Fukuoka.
Not only is it beautifully decorated with adorable Kirby plushies, Waddle Dee figures and an impressive Whispy Forest in the center, but it also offers food that will make you feel like you're in Kirby's world instantly.
Their slogan is «Delicious moments, precious memories», and judging by our experience, they got it right!
The Tokyo cafe is located in a charming garden in the fourth floor of the Tokyo Skytree. As you walk in, you'll be greeted by statues of Kirby and Waddle Dee wearing chef and waiter hats. They're so kawaii! A super friendly waitress greeted us warmly and escorted us to our table.

What is Kirby Cafe Tokyo like?
The Kirby Cafe is one of the best decorated themed cafes out there. The interior of the café was designed to recreate the world of Kirby, with colorful decorations inspired by the game. The walls were adorned with images of Kirby and his friends, creating a fun and immersive atmosphere.
With the majestic Whispy Forest at the centre of the café and every corner filled with Kirby-related surprises, the overall atmosphere is simply magical.
Near the entrance there is a large plate with a welcome sign, as well as Kirby and Waddle Dee plush toys and a giant spoon and fork.
A staff member will be happy to take your photos here, and you can even hold the giant cutlery for your photo op.
The cutlery also has an original design for the Kirby Cafe and you can purchase some, if available, at the official café shop on your way out. I purchased an official café mug and the official café Kirby plush, and they are proudly displayed in the Experience Your Dream office!
The plates the pizza is served on are especially geeky and are sure to make any Kirby fan smile. Plus, If you order a pizza and pay extra you can take one of these wooden plates home and use it as if you were still geeking out in Japan, I did!!
The music in the cafe is a remix of classic Kirby themes, which fans will love. If you want to take these tunes home with you, you can purchase the remixed versions in albums called "The Sound of Kirby Cafe" and "The Sound of Kirby Cafe 2."

The food at Kirby Café was as delicious as its original interior. The menu includes a number of dishes inspired by the iconic character, including pizza, burgers, desserts and drinks. All dishes are not only delicious, but also beautifully presented, making dining at the café a truly special experience.
Unlike other themed cafes that use tablets, at Kirby Cafe it is offered on physical menus where you must inform your order to a waiter.
Don't worry, the menu includes English descriptions and photographs to make choosing your order easier. You can also enjoy the illustrations on the menu.
IMPORTANT NOTE: On our visit to Kirby Cafe in Tokyo, the waiter told us that We could only place our orders once because the cafe was so busy. You must order all the dishes and drinks you want to try at once because you will not be able to order again. Some menu items can only be ordered once per table. However, this may change in the future.
To drink we ordered two super delicious coffees and super cute decorations! To eat we ordered Kirby's Mogumogu Loco Moco Bowl a bowl with hamburger steak and the original Loco Moco sauce, Lomilomi with everyone in Waddledi It was a delicious bowl of salmon and avocado and to share a pizza Half meat and half cheese. We went more for the savoury side than the dessert, but if you have a sweet tooth, take a look at their super desserts because you'll be amazed!
