Australia's climate is highly diverse across its eight states and territories. While most of the country experiences four distinct seasons, the tropical north experiences wet and dry seasons.
Sidney: Sydney's climate ranges from 10°C to 20°C, but during the summer, which begins in December and runs until the end of March, temperatures tend to be between 25°C and 35°C.
Brisbane: Brisbane is warm all year round. In summer, average temperatures range from 21 to 29.8°C. Being a tropical climate, this season is also the rainiest of the year in Brisbane, meaning the weather tends to be quite humid, with possible thunderstorms and flooding.
Perth: Summer in Perth is hot and dry, with very little rainfall. During this season, average temperatures range between 18 and 30°C.
Darwin: In Darwin, there are only two real seasons: the “wet” season and the “dry” season. The wet season runs from November to April, right during the usual Australian summer. During this time, humidity is high, it rains a lot and there are thunderstorms. Average temperatures range from 25 to 32°C, and humidity can reach up to 80 percent!
