🗣 Language: The official language is Thai. Some English is spoken in tourist areas, but it may be more difficult in rural areas. Still, Thai people are very friendly and will always try to help you. Learn to say “Sawasdee ka/krap”(hello), “khop khun” (thank you) and “maybe pet” (not spicy, please 😅).
💰 Currency: The currency is the baht (THB). The exchange rate is favorable for travelers. You can pay by card in hotels and shopping centers, but you'll need cash in markets, street stalls, and local transportation.
🍽 Traditions: The head is the most sacred part of the body, and the feet are the lowest, so be careful not to touch someone on the head or point with your feet. Buddhism is deeply respected, so if you visit temples, cover your shoulders and knees and take off your shoes before entering. Smile—it's part of the Thai nonverbal language!
🔌 Plug: Voltage: 220 V, frequency: 50 Hz. Plugs are usually type A, B, and C. A universal adapter will be great, especially if you carry multiple devices.

WHEN TO TRAVEL TO THAILAND
Thailand has a tropical climate: warm all year round, with a dry season and a rainy season.
☀️ Dry season (November – March): The best time to travel. It's warm but not excessively humid, and it hardly rains.
🌦 Rainy season (May – October): It rains heavily, but only occasionally. The landscapes are green, and prices are down.
🔥 April: intermediate season, very hot. However, the Songkran (Thai New Year), where the entire country becomes a giant water fight. It's crazy fun!
🇹🇭 DREAMER TIP: Bring light clothing, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and always have a backpack handy. And don't underestimate the power of 7-Eleven: you'll find it on every corner, and it can save your life (or at least your breakfast).
