WHAT IS WISE
One of the things to keep in mind during the process of managing your student visa is that you will need to make a transfer to the school to pay for your course and, in addition, you will have to transfer money from your country's bank account to your new bank account when you arrive. On the other hand, you will also have to do this same process in reverse when you return home. And in this whole process there are two things you have to keep in mind that can make you lose more money than necessary:
THE VALUE OF THE CURRENCY.
THE BANK COMMISSION WHEN MAKING THE TRANSFER.
We recommend doing the whole process with WISE since it is the most economical and safe way to transfer money to your Dreamer DestinationIn this post we show you how to send money abroad with Wise.
HOW TO USE WISE
Enter the amount to send and the currency. Enter the currency in which you are sending and the currency in which you want to receive the money. Also add the amount you want to send or receive. When you enter the figure in one box, the other box automatically appears with the estimated official exchange rate of the day on which the exchange is made and the commission is always included so you don't have to worry about it. If the exchange rate is lower in the end, the difference will be returned to your bank account.
The next step is to select how you want to pay or where you want to transfer the money from. We recommend that you do it by card or transfer. Follow the steps below and enter your bank details so that Wise can handle the transfer.
Once you have completed the previous step and clicked on “Continue”, you will see on the screen the details of a Wise bank account located in Germany. This is the account to which you will have to send the transfer (either from your online banking or from your bank branch). You have to make a transfer to Wise for the exact amount of money, to the account number they provide you, adding the reference they indicate. Yes, yes. You will transfer your money to the Wise account so that they can then transfer it to your account abroad.
If you have done the whole process perfectly, but you have not notified Wise you have already made the bank transfer to them, it is as if you had not done anything. So please do not close the Wise tab in your browser before you have made the transfer and clicked on “I have made the bank transfer”.
Once you have made your transfer, you will receive an email from Wise indicating that the transaction has been completed. The next day (or depending on the payment method you have chosen), you will receive an email from Wiise confirming that they have received your money.
And another email when they have transferred the money from their account to the account in question, where you had made the transfer. And, once the money has arrived at the destination account, Wise will send you an email to notify you.
As you can see, this method of transferring money abroad is not only safe, but it also allows you to know where your money is at all times. Confidence and peace of mind 100% 🙂
