The rugged desert landscapes and red earth of the interior of Australia have a naturally cinematic appeal, but the filming locations that have caught the eye of Hollywood location scouts reveal the appeal of all kinds of Australian landscapes.

Babe the brave little pig
Babe the Brave Pig, although it is hard to believe, was filmed in Australia, specifically in Robertson, New South Wales. A place full of family farms as seen in the film, the perfect English countryside in Babe. Places to disconnect in nature. Ideal for lovers of photography, nature and animals. One of my favorite movies, I never get tired of watching it.

Thor: Ragnarok
Another film shot in Australia is Thor: Ragnarok. It used the Tamborine National Park, in Queensland, for its wide landscapes - which were conveniently close to the Village Roadshow studios in Gold Coast , where their main filming studio was located. Other filming locations included Brisbane's central business district and Dirk Hartog Island near Brisbane. Perth. Thor Ragnarok is 100% MADE IN AUSTRALIA

Finding Nemo
Before you look on Google Maps, 42 Wallaby Way, in Sydney, We regret to inform you that the dentist's address is not a real address. This address is a tribute to number 62 West Wallaby Street, which is home to the duo Wallace and Gromit, of which Pixar artists are fans.
However, the city of Sydney is one of the most emblematic destinations in the history of Hollywood and there you can visit the Sealife, a must-see in Sydney as you will see Nemo among others. Another iconic Australian location in Finding Nemo, is where it all begins, the Great Barrier Reef, where Marlin and Dory set out to save Nemo.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge
Salazar's Revenge was shot entirely in Australia, primarily in the area where the film was based. Gold Coast at Village Roadshow Studios. Like many others, it was partly filmed at the Village Roadshow Studios. WhitsundaysThe beautiful tropical backdrop, pleasant climate, gorgeous white sand beaches and picturesque islands provide the perfect cinematic setting for a plethora of movies.
This Pirates installment was filmed at Whitehaven Beach, a favorite of tourists and locals alike, known for its 7km of white silica sand. The film crew is said to have brought in additional palm trees and trees to make the area look more Caribbean-like, with extra tropical foliage to better fit the film.

Petter Rabbit
Peter Rabbit was filmed in Kensington (London), Windermere and Ambleside (Lake District) and Sydney and Camden (Australia). EScenes from this movie are shot in Centennial Park in Sydney, toFortunately, Centennial Park, located between Bondi Beach and Fox Studios, had convincingly European vegetation. The biggest challenge was recreating the natural light of the United Kingdom in Australia, where the sunlight is much more intense.
